We Did It - And What A Week It Was!
Four days. Sixteen sessions. Hundreds of conversations that will stick with people long after the screens went dark and the Horsham rooms emptied out. WDR's Learning at Work Week 2026 has come and gone, and it was, quite simply, one of the most energising things we have done.
From the very first session on Monday morning, there was something different in the air. People showed up. Really showed up, engaged, curious, ready to invest time in themselves and each other. That spirit carried all the way through to Thursday afternoon, and it reminded every one of us why this week matters so much.

From the very first session on Monday morning, there was something different in the air. People showed up. Really showed up, engaged, curious, ready to invest time in themselves and each other. That spirit carried all the way through to Thursday afternoon, and it reminded every one of us why this week matters so much.
"Learning at Work Week reminded us that development doesn't have to be complicated; it just has to be relevant, accessible, and human."
This year's programme was built around four distinct themes, each day bringing its own flavour and focus. Whether you joined us online or came in person to Horsham, there was something designed with you in mind.
Monday
Coaching & management foundations
Tuesday
Inclusive leadership & wellbeing
Wednesday
Learning, technology & people management
Thursday
Performance, communication & everyday skills
Highlights were everywhere. The coaching practice workshop buzzed with energy as people practised real conversations in real time. The neurodiversity session opened eyes and prompted some of the most heartfelt decisions of the week. And if the reaction to The Art of Saying No was anything to go by, that one clearly hit a nerve in the very best way.
Sessions on AI in workplace learning and building a learning culture without a big budget felt particularly timely, sparking conversations that we suspect are far from over.
"The conversations didn't end when the sessions did - that's how you know something landed."
Thank you.
None of this happens without the people who show up, spread the word, and bring their whole selves to a session. Thank you to every attendee, every facilitator and every colleague who forwarded an email or nujdged a friend to register. You made this week what it was.
A special thank you also to our partners and Community of Practise members who helped amplify the programme far beyond our own networks. Your generosity in championing this means more than we can say.
This is just the beginning.
Here's the thing: Learning at Work Week may be over, but the momentum absolutely does not have to be. We have been blown away by the appetitie for this kind of practical, accessible, genuinely useful learning - and we have every intention of feeding it.
