Course Description

This course is designed for learners wishing to develop the fundamental knowledge and skills associated with using Microsoft Cloud services. Learners are expected to have some hands-on experience with Office 365, Microsoft Intune, firewalls, network topologies & devices as well as network ports.

Our Cloud Fundamentals course serves perfectly as a stepping stone to the Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) qualifications.

Upon completion of this course, learners will be ready to take the Microsoft Technology Associate exam 98-369, leading to MTA Cloud Fundamentals certification!

WDR provide a week of intensive, supported learning. Each skill is broken down by our expert tutor and will provide you with a highly interactive learning experience at our Horsham training centre, supported with mock tests, eBooks (bring a memory stick!) and remote support & guidance before entry to the exam. For larger groups, WDR can arrange training at your premises, or another local venue. Please speak to our team for further booking details.

What you'll be doing on the course

Identifying the requirements and dependencies for using Office 365 and Microsoft Intune.

Selecting a cloud service plan and signing up for cloud services.

Setting up the initial configuration of selected cloud services.

Describing cloud principles and delivery mechanisms, cloud security requirements and policies and more.

Configuring Exchange Online, SharePoint Online including OneDrive, Skype for Business online and Microsoft Intune.

Creating users and groups, assigning services and licenses, assigning permissions and monitoring health.

Resolving sign in and Office application installation issues, as well as calendar, email and other issues.
