Lines of Learning

Think big, aspire higher

Our Lines of Learning help turn potential into progress and ambition into achievement.

At WDR we are really focused on learning "in role" and embedding what you learn into your everyday work. Through blended learning we combine face-to-face interaction with the power and accessibility of eLearning to deliver superior development. The result is both cost effective and agile, with the option to customise both the content of our learning offer and the channels through which it is delivered.

Our customers see us as a virtual extension to their own internal Learning and Development team underscoring our commitment to helping individuals and organisations to thrive.

At the beginning of the journey it's about improving confidence, employability and aspiration; for middle managers it's about nurturing their talents, while for business leaders we can help with coaching to develop an in-depth understanding of strategy, business goals and the qualities needed to become a true thought leader.

Crucially, people don't have to start at the beginning and work through to the end. Our learning model is entirely modular: the exact parts of the process each learner chooses are up to them. The result is transformational development tailored to their specific needs, delivered in a way that's cost-effective, time-efficient and yields tangible business results.

Put all this together and we are ultimately about aspiration. By drawing on the latest research in behavioural science we enable individuals and organisations to aspire higher, taking them from wherever they are now to wherever they want to go.

Key benefits:

  • WDR's Lines of Learning ensure your people have the skills they need to succeed.
  • They build on the latest neuroscience research to help learners develop a growth mind-set and mental strength.
  • They enable companies to customise learning to create a package that meets their specific needs.
  • They ultimately enable individuals and the organisations they work for to flourish.

At the heart of our learning approach is the 70:20:10 principle, offering blended and practical development. Research by the Towards Maturity Consultancy suggests that the 70:20:10 development framework is the most effective learning model, putting what you have learned straight into practice so you remember it.

We all have behaviours and beliefs that shape our day to day lives and these impact on the way we behave and ultimately perform. In the world of sport we invest a great deal of time and energy developing the physical, technical and tactical skills, but the mental skills are equally important.
